Refer a friend, train a month for free
Most people do not come to us because of an advert, but because someone they trust said: come along. That is exactly what we want to thank you for — you and the person you bring.
If someone joins on your recommendation, you both get a free month.

How it works
| 1 | Pass on your link or code. You find both in the MySports app. The easiest way is to send your personal invitation link straight over WhatsApp. |
| 2 | Your buddy signs up. They enter your code when they join — online in the sign-up form or with us at the desk. |
| 3 | The first payment goes through. As soon as the first regular payment clears, the referral is confirmed. You both get an email from us. |
| 4 | You get your month. Exactly how, is right below. |

What you both get

You, the one referring
Your next monthly payment is not taken. So you notice it straight away, not at the end of your term.

Your buddy, the new member
Their term is extended by one free month. 12 months become 13, 24 become 25 — at the same price.

Where to find your code
Every member has their own referral code — a short string like 2YOKZ — plus a personal invitation link. Both live in MySports.
In the app

On a computer
Log in to MySports and go to Self-Service. Under Invite friends you find your link to copy, with your code next to it.
Depending on your language settings the menu items may appear as Freunde einladen. And if you cannot get to your phone right now: just ask us at reception and we will tell you your code.

Who can take part
Anyone can refer who has a running 12- or 24-month contract — whatever the tariff. Basic, Premium, Kurse, VIP and the student tariffs are all included.
Anyone can be referred who signs a 12- or 24-month contract with us and has not been a member here in the past twelve months.
Partner, children, parents, flatmates — who you refer is up to you. For anyone under 18 we need parental consent, as always.
Is your contract already running month to month because your original term has expired? That works too — talk to us at the desk. You sign a new 12- or 24-month contract and keep your current tariff and price.

Frequently asked questions
Where do I find my referral code?
In MySports under Refer friends — in the app via the Studio tab, on a computer via Self-Service. Your personal invitation link is there too. If you cannot find it, we will tell you at reception.
Link or code — which is better?
The link is more convenient: copy once, send over WhatsApp, done. The code is there for when your buddy would rather sign up themselves or come to the desk — they can simply enter it when joining.
How do I see whether my referral has counted?
In MySports under Refer friends there are the tabs Open and Redeemed. There you see which referrals are still running and which have already been credited.
My buddy forgot the code when signing up. Is it too late?
Not straight away. If you come to us within a week of signing, we will add the code afterwards. After that it is unfortunately too late.
When do I get my free month?
As soon as your buddy’s first regular monthly payment has cleared. Your next payment is then skipped. We send you both an email once that happens.
Why only after the first payment?
Because a referral only becomes a referral once it has actually turned into a membership. That keeps it fair and understandable for everyone.
Can I refer my partner or my child?
Yes. Partner, children, parents, flatmates — it makes no difference to us. For anyone under 18 we need parental consent.
I used to be a member. Can someone refer me?
Only if your last membership ended more than twelve months ago. Within those twelve months you do not count as a new member.
How many people can I refer?
Up to five per calendar year. That is usually plenty — and if you actually use them all up, talk to us and we will find something that suits you.
My contract runs month to month. Can I still refer someone?
Yes, but for that you need a fixed term again. You sign a new 12- or 24-month contract and keep your current tariff and price. Just come by the desk.
Can I have the month paid out instead?
No. The free month applies only to your own membership and cannot be paid out or transferred to anyone else.
What if my buddy cancels soon after?
Your free month stays yours. What counts is the first successful payment — what happens after that changes nothing.
