Bring someone along
Training is more fun with someone else, and the first step into a gym is easier when someone comes along who already knows their way around. That is what the Buddy Chip is for: a fixed way to bring someone with you — no sign-up, no discussion at the desk, no extra cost.

Counted per calendar month. Unused visits expire at the end of the month and do not carry over. Student memberships are excluded from the Buddy Chip.

How it works
| 1 | Pick up your chip. You get your personal Buddy Chip at reception. You collect it once and keep it — it belongs to your membership. |
| 2 | Come together. You arrive at the studio together. The Buddy Chip only works when you are there. |
| 3 | You first, your buddy right after. You check in as usual, your buddy immediately afterwards with the chip — within one minute. After that the turnstile locks again. |
| 4 | Train. You train together. Your buddy stays with you for the whole visit. |

Why one minute?
The chip is tied to your check-in. If your buddy turns up later on their own it will not work — otherwise a buddy visit would quickly turn into a second membership for free.
In practice: walk to the turnstile together, you go through, your buddy right behind you. No waiting in the changing room, no «I’ll follow in ten minutes».

Who gets a chip — and who you can bring
Every member with Premium, Kurse or VIP who is 18 or older gets a Buddy Chip. Members under 18 do not receive a chip and therefore cannot bring anyone.
Who you bring is up to you. Only one thing matters: your buddy is your responsibility for the whole visit. You show them the machines, you keep an eye on them, you stay with them.
For under-18s our normal rules apply. You can always bring your own child — as their guardian you are there anyway. Young people who are not your own children can only come with their own legal guardian, or from the age of 15 with a signed parental consent form. 13- and 14-year-olds only in the company of their parents. Under 13, training is not possible.
Your buddy does not need to register or show any ID. It can be the same person every time — or someone different each time.

What your buddy can use
On the training floor and at all the machines you simply train together, with nothing else needed.
Classes work differently. If your buddy wants to join a class, you have to register them in advance. We need their name, email address and phone number — that is the only way they get their confirmation and can cancel the place if something comes up. There is no way around it: class places are limited, and a place that is not cancelled is one another member could have used.
Buddy visits work during our regular opening hours — and from now on during Access+ hours too. You do not need to register at reception: you simply come together, you check in, your buddy right after with the chip.

Frequently asked questions
I forgot my chip — does it still work?
Just ask at reception and we will sort something out. During Access+ hours nobody is on site — without the chip it will not work then. Best to keep it with your keys.
Can I bring two people at once?
Not with Premium or Kurse — the chip covers one person per visit. With VIP you have two visits a month, which you can also use on two different days.
Can my buddy join a class?
Yes, but only with advance registration. We need their name, email address and phone number so your buddy gets a confirmation and can cancel the place.
What if I lose my chip?
A replacement chip costs 5 € at reception.
What else can I use the chip for?
During your visit it also opens the locker in the changing room and is used to check out when you are done.
Can I lend the chip to someone?
No. The chip stays with you and only works together with your check-in. It belongs to your membership and ends with it.
What happens to unused visits?
Your allowance resets every month. Anything you have not used by the end of the month expires and does not carry over.
My buddy wants to join. Do I get anything for it?
Yes. Through our referral programme you both get a free month. Just give your buddy your referral code.
I have Basic — can I add the chip?
The Buddy Chip comes with Premium, Kurse and VIP. If you want to switch, talk to us at the desk — we will look at what makes sense for you.
